When you use Aplus, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also collect the study materials you upload (text, PDFs, audio recordings) and your performance data (quiz scores, study history, weak points).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Aplus app. Specifically, we process your uploaded study materials to generate customized quizzes and learning insights. Your performance data is used to track your progress and provide personalized study recommendations.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Processing
To provide advanced AI features, Aplus shares the study materials you upload with OpenAI via their API. OpenAI processes this data to generate quizzes and insights but is not permitted to use your personal data to train their models under their API terms. We also use Supabase to securely store your account information, uploaded files, and study history.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers using industry-standard encryption.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Tadeáš Jalovec acts as the Data Controller for your personal information. You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion ("right to be forgotten") of your data, restrict or object to our processing, and request data portability. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
7. Children's Privacy
Aplus is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information from our records.
